not bad. You misspelled tutorials in menu. Also, i would remove the site map from the main menu bar (it's not that important outside of search engine spiders...)

Nice, still the header is a little "empty", and that moon in front of the box text is not really my thing.
Great colour scheme.

I like the idea of having video tutorials, although it's not a new idea, many new users find it useful, and a different perspective is always good. The presentation would have some more oomph with a graphic logo rather than text.

For a first site in Joomla it's pretty good, keep playing around and learning more and you will be surprised what you can do.

Nice over all, just looks TOO template..ly... I would shrink the top image in height, and then add a nice logo with a shadow... Keep it going!
