Looks really good overall. Only minor point would be that in the upper right, the Joomla is basically unreadable because the letter coloring of light green is too light.

Nice work on the blog. What part of Italy are you from?

I ask because my wife and I had a GREAT time in Italy a few years ago. We spent about a month in total. We didn't make it to Sicily unfortunately, but enjoyed Pompeii and Naples quite a bit in addition to the normal tourist spots and Lucca.
