A couple of quick points. I'd consider making your banner, and/or top row of pictures somewhat smaller as I don't really see any of the stories above the fold.

Additionally your site is much wider than my screen which may be a problem for some users.

Additionally, if I were to find your site randomly....I'm not sure I'd know exactly what it was about based on the home page. Some text somewhere telling me about you and your site may be helpful.

Overall looks really good though-best of luck with the small tweaks.

Thanks for the tips, i made the site 1000pixels wide, and im on a macbook pro, and looks fine, but thanks for the heads up, i will try to make the site more browser friendly.

I like the background and how you integrated the background in the top. Nicely done. The colour of your links doesnt really stand out and are hard to read here and there. You might consider changing that a little.

Also I found that the top navigation is not very intuitive. At first glance I wonder what some of the menu items stand for.

Otherwise nice looking website :).

Thank you achilles! I have tweaked my menubar to make it better looking and more user friendly by making it baby blue and a highlighted red :D
