Fatal error: Undefined class name 'jrequest'

Post by jamesman » Wed Jun 01, 2011 8:53 am

the full error is as follows:

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'jrequest' in d:\webroot\frosteng.thomaswebs.net\httpdocs\index.php on line 16

i have inserted this code block (in bold) into my MAIN index.php:

// Set flag that this is a parent file
define( '_JEXEC', 1 );
$pageoption = JRequest::getVar('option', '');
$pageview = JRequest::getVar('view', '');
$pageitemid = JRequest::getVar('Itemid', '');
$pageid = JRequest::getVar('id', '');

define('JPATH_BASE', dirname(__FILE__) );

it doesn't seem like it's a corrupt/missing environment\request.php file; it's present on the server, i've uploaded several fresh downloads/copies, and it's pulling other information from that file. i'm completely at a loss. please help!

thanks!
