No site mail on new host

Post by johnkg » Mon Feb 06, 2012 2:07 pm

I have just moved a client's website from a test host (sub domain of my company web site) to their chosen host. The Joomla mail function that worked on my test site using PHP stopped working and i cant get it to send on either PHP or Sendmail with the new host sendmail path.

Anyone have any ideas? ???

Did you try to contact your hosting provider? I would have installed a trial CMS there and see if the mail function works... Also you can try to create an e-mail account there and send a message, to see if the server is not blocked/blacklisted (I had such a case).

I have developed a website in joomla, and I have a contact us page, in that the form works fine only when I use to send an email from the same domain
But when I send to a different domain the form gives an error as "Could not instantiate mail function."
Can anyone explain me about this problem ??
Joomla! is a extremely customizable
