I would also like to add the rel="nofollow" attribute, but only to a specific external link in my menu. Aside from this plugin, is there any other way of doing it for a specific menu entry?

Hi dhuelsmann,

You are an hero. Thanks for providing this link. It's the solution I have been looking for without any hack.
Now, please tell me: Is there a way to automatically add a nofollow tag in a single page? The nofollow will apply to every link within that page. e.g. Automatically add a nofollow in the mata tag of the forum. All links in the forum will be nofollow.
Note. My website meta tags are driven from one place.

Thanks

You'll most likely have to add an if condition somewhere in the template and specify the link id if you want to add the nofollow attribute to only one menu item. You should have a bit of programming knowledge so you can do that without using a plugin.

You have to override method that show your menu items. In website there is many articles about that.
I take my time to make a new template based on the old Rhuk_Milkyway, but now its ready to be used for Joomla 3.8 ...
