How to make only Article title appear in search result Topic is solved

Hello All,

One of my friend is working with Joomla 1.5.22 version and was trying to find ways to make only Artilce title appear in search result and not the preview.

Is there a way to achieve this.

Please help.

How do you get only the article title to apear in the search results? He does not want to change the titles, he wants only the article title to appear in the search results.

Anybody out there with an idea how to do this would be my hero!!!!!!

I know this is an ancient thread but I need this solution as well. Even better title plus meta description would be better.

Hello Team,

I don't know how, but I was not looking at this thread for a long time. I just tried again and managed to pull it off. Here is what I did:

1. Performed the search.
2. Took the class name of the search text using Inspect element function of Chrome (in my case: .result-text)
3. No set the display to none.

Listed below is the CSS code sample I have used:

}
