proper font

Post by Travian » Fri Nov 14, 2008 7:57 am

here are some font packs to get it to appear properly, i had my pages translated and i noticed problems displaying the actual text. turns out you need to have proper fonts otherwise it shows up as weird characters and this is mainly problem for firefox.

Download font pack: Murasu Anjal 2000 fonts

Installing is very easy. If you have downloaded it, just run the exe file. Anjal provides the font 'InaimathiTSC' which helps to read our tamil pages. Anjal also helps you to send and receive Tamil emails, type short texts in tamil using built-in Murasu Editor.

Hello,
To view the pages that are created using this font we may need this software. If a page is in Unicode, then we can read it without any problem. And it is recommended to use Unicode fonts.
We had some Unicode rendering issue in Firefox 2. BUt the Firefox 3.x is fine and it is rendering Tamil Unicode properly.

no problem reg, but you may want to try this one as well if you're on Linux, i realized the other few were ttp and pbf which won't work on non-windows machines, not even sure if it'll run on osx ..and def won't work on linux. So try this if you're using Linux

Code: Select all

As I said, Unicode is the only recommended way to create content in Web. Therefore please try that :)
