Are there any groups in the ST. Louis area

I'm trying to figure out Joomla as well and live in St. Louis.

The only thing I've seen is a meetup.com joomla group.
i've been to a couple of mtgs. Nice group, but veterans and talk over my head a lot.
After a quick 4 or so mtgs, it's been quiet though.

any luck finding anything else since you posted this?

I'm new to joomla! as well, and want to hook up to a JUG in St. Louis. I'll take a look on Meetup.com for the group you mentioned. It will also likely be over my head as well. But knowing someone in the area that knows this, is better than no one.
