Approximate time from submission to approval or denial

First let me say I think this directory is a great addition to the Joomla community.

I understand that the directory is powered volunteers and things take time.

Any idea about the approximate time from submission to publishing? If there was a guideline I think it could be helpful. Even if it was set at a month it could put a lot of people at ease.

I submitted a resource on June 17th and have not heard anything. Not sure if I have been approved or denied. I am just assuming that my site is still in queue.

Will email be sent out if you have not been approved?

Rest assured we are going through all submissions as fast as we can. the response has been better than expected and we are a bit behind. when we look at your sub we will email you either way, right now we have sent out over 100 emails for listings to fix problems or if we need extra clarification and many people are not getting back to us. We ask that you all be patient and you will hear from us.
