Trying to Embed Video

I am trying to embed a video in an article. I have downloaded plug in from Joomlaworks, installed it and made sure it was published in plug in manager. Most of the the videos out there who show you how to embed , talk about and Embed Button that looks like a filmstrip. I do not have this on my menu. My question is I am suppose to have this and can someone tell me the easiest way to embed this video. Joomla version is 1.5

I went and got the embed code at you tube , I change to old embed code , copied into article page. Got he box with the tv icon, but when I save it the embed code vanishes.

if you use one rich editor, you will have a feature to embed.
which editor do you use?
embed video with link from [youtube].com or any video from your server?
