TinyMCE and 10.5 incompatibility ?

Hey everyone !

This is my first post because I've been a Joomla! user only for a few days.

I'm having a big problem, but most of all a really weird one and don't know where to start looking for an answer.

Here's the deal :
- we're running Joomla! 1.015 : not my choice, it is run by the webmaster (I'm only managing a sub site of the main thing) ;
- the problem comes from TinyMCE which, from time to time, doesn't work, does not allow hyper links or image adding.
- here's the weird thing : it works perfectly fine on my old Powerbook under 10.4.4, either with Firefox or Safari, but it's NOT working on my MacBook under 10.5.5, neither with Safari or Firefox (3.0.3 with both my computers.)

10.4 ok, 10.5 not ok.
Weird huh ?

First I thought the only difference between the two browsers were the plugins (GoogleGears in particular), but that is not the case.

I'm lost, and don't know which way to look for an answer.

Can you help me ?
