Progress update about JCM?

The last JCM was published 1¼ years ago (Oct 2018). From what I can see, the JCM is undergoing a website upgrade and relaunch of the site (https://magazine.joomla.org) and, for that reason, not accepting new article submissions.

I am not in a position to assist with the site upgrade because I don't know anything about the technicalities that may be involved with that activity; however, I do have several ideas "in the can" for articles to contribute to the magazine when (or if) it resumes operations. Can someone inform us what is the current state-of-play, please?

Thank you, @brian, for that information. March 2020. Excellent news.

I will be keenly be looking forward to the "year in review" summary—"reports from all the teams, across departments, to let teams present and report their annual activities and achievement"—especially from the forum management team!
