Re: Leadership Team clarification
Thumbs up here too Jeremy
Particularly useful are the "Method of Communication" and "Proper Method for community input" fields.

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
I think the best part is outlining the process by which decisions are made. That is the part I need the most help with, as I can't speak for the teams. So do you need something more from me or what is the next step?

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
I guess the next step would be to create a chart using your PDF for each of the four teams:

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
Yes, but without knowing the processes they each go through, how am I to complete them? I provided the example above to help guide what details could be useful, and to point out the keys are covering what the team does, who the members are, the points of contact for their areas of concern, and their decision making process.

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
Hi Jeremy
Same here. The top-half of the PDF is easy to fill in and I can do that for OSM.
The second-half is more nebulous. One of the reasons I started the communication policy idea was that there wasn't a process like the one you outlined:
http://community.joomla.org/blogs/commu ... ation.html
Most things got done on a do-ocracy basis. Someone volunteers and gos and gets it done. However, I'll have a think and do my best for OSM.

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
Thank Steve,
If that is the case, then that is a legitimate process for getting things done. I just put together what might seem like a formalized method, but if its not formalized I think thats important to note and bring to light. I don't want to try and dictate the methods leadership should use to make decisions, but I do feel like its important to know the typical process, and make it public.
I don't want you to try and change anything just for this report, is it possible to just have a member of each of the teams offer up their thoughts on how decisions are typically made?

As a member of the CLT team, I am happy to offer my thoughts. It won't be an issue with having someone from the PLT help as well.

Re: [STARTED] Leadership Team clarification
Thanks Brad, if I get a member from each team I'll contact them all at once with the same details to make sure everything is on the same page. Does that sound fair/do-able?
