One quote got me thinking.
Joomla calls everybody "Users" and assigns everybody to "User groups".The only other industry that calls its customers "Users", besides technology, is[/are] drug dealers.
But Joomla can be used to be anything we want:
Forums have members
Webshops have customers
Schools have students/teachers
Etc. etc.
Joomla should reflect this and rename "Users" to a friendlier, more human, more inclusive word.
"Users" can be "People" or "Persons".
"User group" can be (simply) "Group".
In the "Users" menu it is, but not in other places.
"Username" can be "Login name".
In the "Edit profile" screen this is already the case.
"Super Users" can be "Super person"... Okay, this one needs more thought.
BTW have you ever noticed that this group is plural while the rest is singular?
Regards,
Wim
