ACL for articles bug: top menu edit options

For a category and its articles I set the acl to super admin only.
When another user with another role logs in, the articles are displayed greyed out. see attachement
but the checkbox and edit button are still available and works!!!
I cannot save this article in the disallowed category tough.

The edit button is hidden when I only select the disallowed category.

I would expect the edit button never to work on disallowed articles.

What do you mean by "the" acl. What actions and what privleges were assigned to each group?
it sounds like you had at least given access to the component for some of the other groups.

Also, would you please just post some screen shots--nothing personal but I don't want to download documents from a stranger.
