Women fashion website
Hello,
I have developed a website for women, based on joomla.
http://www.stilfeminin.ro
Components used:
jom comment
news feeds
acajoom
art banners
artio jomsef
Custom development: in home page, it was done to automatically extract the last articles from sections, and to publish them in the appropiate box with the appropriate image
Other feature:
I developed a webmail integrated in the joomla, and i will lunch it next week.
Specific areas of my site that I'd like feedback on:
design: do you find this design appropriate for a women website - target fashion and strong office women?
structure: because the user can find the info that need right on the front page, the number of the pages per user has decreased since redesign.
about content: do u find that the first page has to much information on it?
Thank you and I would really love to see your feedback.

Re: Women fashion website
This is really, really, well done! This must have been a serious undertaking considering the amount of info on the site...how long did this take you to build.
My only constructive critique is that it is kind of dazzling the sheer volume of info on the pages to sift through...
Great color schemes, great design of the modular information boxes, sweet header and integration of the ad banner.
Really nice job!

Thank you bofka,
thank you for your words. The work to develop it this way was around one month, or a little bit longer.. something like that. About the info, is already more than a year, since the editors are writing articles.
I would like it to develop it further.. every section should have its own design, and i still have a lot to work on this way.
I know that too much info and the scroll of the page could damage, but I suppose will always should take such decision.
I hope I took the right one. But I am not perfect, that's why your feedback is so important to me.
Thanks a lot and I wait for other feedbacks...

iulianv,
I am amazed you have not had more comments on your site....
I have been developing my site http://www.wikivorce.com for one year almost and am very happy with its progress.
I have spent the last 2 weeks customising the CSS and working just on the look and feel.
But I have to say..........having looked at 100s of joomla websites....many from links on this Showcase forum.....
You site is without doubt the most professional looking Joomla site I have ever seen.
The attention to detail and flair on the home page is stunning.
How did you get the graphics and template looking so good?
What template did you use as the base?
Do you user professional image editing and graphics design software?
Congratulations.....it is a beautiful site and I wish you every success.
regards
Ian
