Custom logout button

Hi,

anyone have an idea how i can implement my own logout button for 1.6?

If the user is logged in, he can currently only use the logout button from the login module, so this has to be published for logged-in users. That is the only reason for having this module published and it looks bad having a module which content is only a button.

So i wanted to implement a logout button in a usermenu to "merge" this two modules (usermenu and loing module) to save space and make things prettier ^^

Any suggestions?
I found some solutions for 1.5, but those would not work anymore in 1.6 (i think so).

I'm trying to figure this out as well. Did find instructions for doing it with an "External URL" menu item, but the URL doesn't seem to work in 1.6
