Error 500

Saludos,

Tengo un serio problema de joomla que me tiró el sitio en producción con el error 500. Simplemente no importa que haga, todo el sitio arroja error 500. y no se puede revisar absolutamente nada.

He restaurado bakcups parciales y totales y nada, monté el sitio en una subcarpeta dentro del mismo dominio y funciona bien. Pero en la raíz del dominio no funciona. cree una nueva base de datos y reapunté allá y tampoco. Me he puesto en contacto con el proveedor y me dice que es problema de joomla. Pero el sitio en funcionamiento (de la subcarpeta) lo pegué completo en la raíz y tampoco. Así que busco una lucecita en este medio para ver si alguno puede tener una idea.

Por si algo, el proveedor menciona que los siguientes errores pueden ser los culpables:

Con respecto al vvisit counter, ya deshabilité ese mod desde el sitio que si funciona.
El otro error si es desconocido total para mi.

Hi, the strict standards warnings in the system plugin: vvisit_counter.php do not stop the script but maybe the system plugin can somehow influence next parts in script. What if you disable the plugin for test. Do you still get the same problem?

Si desactivé y todo. finalmente opté por migrar a la nueva versión de joomla.
