Unable to write entry

I'm trying to install a component update (Acymailing) on my J2.5.17 website in order to export data and migrate to a newer Joomla instance.
How can I troubleshoot that? No errors in the WAMP PHP error log..

J2.5.17, you are way out of line. The latest 2.5 was 2.5.28.

I don't think Acymailing is making updates for 2.5 anymore.

I've tried to update joomla using that patch. I get this error you can see in attachment
