Reset admin pass using phpMyAdmin

Post by AraMedia407 » Tue May 10, 2022 1:59 pm

I tried to reset the password in phpMyAdmin as in https://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_reco ... assword%3F, but it is not working. I tried even to create a new Super Admin, but I can not too. When I hit "Go", it will show that changes are done. But I can not see the result in database!
What should I do? It's joomla 2.5

Welcome to Joomla forum!

So you can change the password in your database using phpMyAdmin?
Do you have multiple databases at your server?
Are you doing it in the right database?

Did you unpublish any plugins recently?
Two of Joomla's system plugins are needed to login.

Could you use Forum Post Assistant to give more info about your site/server?
