joomla add "/clients/" into menu link >> 404

Post by sgames » Wed Nov 21, 2012 9:45 am

if enable SEF urls in joomla, in menu (no at all items) is before link (http://stoupak.cz/novypokus/Clients/menuitem)

i have then 404 error.
if disable SEF all run OK and no problem.
any ideas ?

look at http://stoupak.cz/novypokus

http://stoupak.cz/novypokus/index.php?o ... &Itemid=76
this is adres without SEF (if is set enabled, i must have this hard link in menu :( )

and this is if enable SEF
http://stoupak.cz/novypokus/Clients/kla ... ledky-jumi
this return 404 err

this is due the jumi component is not fully Joomla! SEF compatible. it is better for you to get their support in their forum.

are you making use of htaccess RewriteBase for your Joomla! website?

sgames has actually solved it himself by just going into the menu manager and click "Rebuild". You may try.

Hi, I did the following because it looked like the database was corrupted with a wrong category or something.

Went to phpMyAdmin to manage database. Clicked on Operations tab and selected the jos_categories table. Down the bottom did a repair table. Went back to site, cleaned cache and its all good.
Thanks anyway but I was a bit scared to do a menu repair. I had to redo these menu items once before and there are more than 100 which quite some time if the rebuild failed..

hmm but it comes back again on all new menu items. Very strange. Investigates further.
