Site showing Mobile version only, including on Desktops

Hi All,

A website I am helping out with is on Joomla 2.5.28, and I'm a Wordpress guy. They haven't made any changes to it since around 2014, and about two weeks ago the site started displaying the mobile version to all devices, including different browsers on different desktop computers. It had worked fine until then.

I have tried purging caches and switching between cache modes (including off), but this does not solve the problem.

Any ideas?

It sounds like caching is "on" (conservative or progressive) + "Platform Specific Caching" is set to "NO". That way the device of a visitor right before you, might determine what kind of cached display you are viewing.
Could you also check under Extensions > Plugins if the "System - Page Cache" is off?


However, if there haven't been any recent changes, has the hosting company made any recent changes on the server or with their server caching?
