I cant track this down. Its been happening since i installed 2.5 way back.

Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL

This is NOT a new installation. THis site has been using Joomla since 2009.
This DB error has been showing up so randomly i cant track it down at all.
There is NOTHING wrong with the DB credentials. They are completely on POINT.
so its not that.

I thought maybe the site was using too much DB resource so i actually had my host provide me a BEEFY HUNGRY WORKHORSE for just my site in only my account.
Yes im paying extra for it but i dont want to if i dont need to and i dont need to if its caused by something else.

I need help with this one.

configuration.php file is set to 0444

wow so.... this is nice
over two years with this problem
and add to that two more weeks with no one answer?

Is anyone out there? ive used all my other avenues of support for this and i am still having this problem
