the main page too slow

hi i installed few modules and a jquery plugin then the website became too slow

i removed all these module and plugins also the problem still
please help

Are you using caching?

In addition to the Debug option of Joomla, there are a number of free browser extensions that allow you to see how long it takes to retrieve the elements of your page - - and their size, which can have an impact on the speed.
