Jean Marie,

I am very happy to see the ways M17n work finally will be core in Joomla! This is great news.
You wrote "some bugs were corrected in the language filter plugin"
But am I correct if this is not yet part of Joomla!1.7beta1?
Can you send me the files?

I really want to see it in real life.. then just perform my last tricks on Multilang M17n. Then I will have a party at 16.g17l.com and g17l.com and see if I can find some other use for these domains.

Thanks and greetings,

Pieter

Yes, the idea comes from M17n (Is'nt the World of Open Source great? :) ). The implementation though is totally different (association table) and integrated into the UI (Manager column, slider, combo, etc.).

I suggest you take offline asap your 1.6 version of M17n as it has a vulnerability (the db query) and does not take into account (it can't by its own nature) all possible problems related to multiple associations to the same menu item, in the same language, to menu items set to ALL, etc. + it forces users to associate all menu items. This is what I was informing you about in a mail I sent you some time ago and that you may not have got as I received no reply.

I hope you enjoy 1.7.

Note: The corrected languagefilter plugin (the version that was shipped with alpha and beta1) now includes the code for association and would be useless in a 1.6.

The best way to now test all is to checkout trunk via SVN.
