Need to find correct lang pack

Post by MusicalWebsites » Fri Oct 03, 2014 12:38 pm

Hello I'm doing a bi-lingual site. I need the lang pack to start on the second language. The main lang is English the second one is Spanish. But I can't seem to find the translation pack for J2.5 Spanish/Espanol . Does one exsist? Must I use a lang pack for an older version of Joomla?

Got it already, but it shows the spain flag in backend instead of mexican flag. How can I fix that? Or was this the wrong package?

well spanish is spanish... but when it only is the flag... in J3 it has been fixed I believe but in J2.5 you drop a flag here /media/mod_languages/images with the correct name es-MX.gif and then change that in the language manager -> edit content language ->image prefix accordingly.

if you take (and have) the time you can "Mexicanize" the es-ES package by copying it an change all es-ES traces for es-MX and also change the filenames accordingly of course.. you then have your Mexican langpack and even can change the typical Spanish for typical Mexican lingua.... as an extra hobby... :D
