Registration form not in dutch language

Post by thewizzz » Sun Feb 08, 2015 7:31 pm

Hi,

On my site http://www.retrogamedealer.nl (still not done yet/work in progress) I have an issue. (I use joomla 2.5 and vm2)

The site is now in dutch language. All thngs are working accept the registration form.

U can find it in the top menu under the name "Registreren"
Link = http://www.retrogamedealer.com/index.php/nl/registreren

I did some intense google searching and I tried almost anything. Now I am just stuck.

Can someone tell me how to fix this so the registration form is also in dutch.

many thnx ahead :)

Reviewed the site and noticed that the registration form shown is not a core Joomla! registration form. Rather, it is the registration from from K2 (K2 User Registration Form).

So, you have to check for the appropriate language file for this extension. Suggest reviewing the language files at http://getk2.org/extend/translations.

On a different topic, are you developing a multilingual site? If the answer is No, there is no need to Enable the plugin "System - Language Filter". This will prevent the language code nl from being shown. If the answer is Yes, then you can leave the settings as they are.

thnx imamickam

I did not try your solution because I found out that I just needed to set Enable K2 User Profile to "no" to get the original joomla registration form (that has language support)

offtopic: yes I did made a multilangual site for future purposes. I disabled the language switcher because I want the site to be in dutch for now (at least for first 6 months).
