If you want this solution in Joomla! 2.5 you may have to study the code in Joomla! 3.9.15.

Thanks for the idea, but it seems to me there is a completely different code. I have not worked with Joomla 3+ and I don’t even know where to look for such code. I downloaded the archive and could not find this module. Maybe tell me where to look for it?

Thank you very much, I just replaced the module php file version 2.5 file with 3.9 and it worked
modules / mod_languages / tmpl / default.php

Glad to know that the code from Joomla 3 worked. However, instead of the replacing the core file, best way would have been to use the the HTML Override technique as documented at https://docs.joomla.org/How_to_override ... omla!_core and https://docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides.
