Hi
is available in the plugin "System - Language Filter":
'Add alternate meta tags.'
Set to Yes.

It lets add alternate meta tags in the <head> of the displayed page for any associated menu item or Home page.

<link href="http://demosite.com/es/" rel="alternate" hreflang="es-ES" />
<link href="http://demosite.com/fr/" rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-FR" />
<link href="http://demosite.com/de/" rel="alternate" hreflang="de-DE" />
etc.

I enabled meta tags, now please an example, within the Joomla article where I add:

<link href="http://demosite.com/es/" rel="alternate" hreflang="es-ES" />
<link href="http://demosite.com/fr/" rel="alternate" hreflang="fr-FR" />
<link href="http://demosite.com/de/" rel="alternate" hreflang="de-DE" />

???????????????????

Hi Grisu,
Once you have enabled the plugin it will automatically function.
Note though that you have to 'associate' menu links of each language with their respective versions in other languages.
See http://help.joomla.org/files/EN-GB_mult ... torial.pdf for more info about this.

It works, but not for K2 blog articles. There is no hreflang present then.
