How to upload geositemap.xml and locations.kml files?

Our company has several offices and I am creating separate listings for them on Google. I need to upload a geositemap.xml and locations.kml that I generated to https://www.mywebsite/com. How do I go about this? Our website manager retired so now i'm in charge of it with very little experience and googling the issue hasn't made it much clearer.

Regarding xml sitemaps:
You can use a sitemap component like OSMap and create an XML sitemap for each menu.
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/osmap/

If you already have the files and want to add them to your site:
use some FTP software (e.g. FileZilla) to upload those files to the root of your website.
