Overriding Registration page for com_users

Post by spoOx » Sat Jan 29, 2011 5:19 pm

Hi,

I can't seem to override the registration html. I have copied the default.php file to:

template/html/com_users/views/registration/default.php

and modified it but it still gets code from original file. any idea what I'm doing wrong? :(

Should it be
template/html/com_users/registration/default.php ?
missing out the /views ?

Hi, I have taken file from components\com_users\views\registration\tmpl\default.php and copied to my template folder /html/com_users/registration/default.php

But its not working , should I need to add /views/ folder inbetween? but joomla override document say it shouldn't be. Please suggest why it should not be working for my overrides ?

Thanks
Hozefa

Create the override with the Template manager https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:How_to_use ... _Overrides

ok, it worked, I think it was the cache issue. I have enabled cache settings in the configuration.

Thanks

That would prevent you from viewing the changes for a while
