Joomla template editing joomla edits code

When i change my template Joomla adds lots of '-' in my code and my sites stops working.

I cannot update my templates unless i update through FTP.

I would try disabling the Code Mirror plugin to see if that makes any difference.

That's extremely bizarre btw.

I found the solution. It's caused by the (newest) RS firewall plugin (active scanner). When I disable this plugin i can edit the templates...

In RS Firewall add exception for your component to skip JS protection.
