How to install Joomla Tamplate

Post by BraveAli » Tue Apr 28, 2015 5:15 am

Hello All

I have downloaded a template from joomla.org website, TemplatesJoomlaNET-services-unzipfirst.zip
it says unzip first, after unzipping; it shows couple of .zip files.

I would like to ask do I need to install all the zip files one by one to use full feature of the template?

Help will be appreciated!

Thanks

I usually don't see this type of process of installation of template, most of the time downloaded zip file easily installed in Joomla.

You install downloaded zip file directly and check weather it is working or not.

Yes, mostly there will be a single file of extension that we simply upload via extension manager, but in my case there I downloaded this free template:
http://www.joomland.org/index.php/jooml ... la-3x.html
as per instructions, I extract it, and then alot of other steps need to be followed to install menu, icons..

I just mass-up with my primary installation of joomla 3.4 after installing the said template. I just deleted joomla and reinstall it :(
