Remove HTML from a module

Post by alexrike » Thu Sep 24, 2015 8:00 pm

I am trying to remove a line of code from our menu module. Is there an editor that I can use? I don't think we need this line in our menu code.

Code: Select all

<a href="#" class="menu-link" id="expand_menu">Menu</a>
This is the site: http://gator4063.hostgator.com/~polkccf/

Thanks,
Alex

Any plain text editor can edit an HTML or PHP file which is what you need to edit. Most developers use editors that are designed specifically for editing code so they highlight the syntax to make it easier to read. But if the file isn't too large and you only need to make one change, notepad should do it.

When I turn off "Show Title" in the module, nothing happens. Should I try editing the code instead?
