Missing parts on bj_venus template

Post by Riff88 » Tue Sep 20, 2016 11:25 am

Hi, I downloaded installed the bj_venus template for joomla 2.5

it should look like this

but when i upload the template to my site it looks like this:

What am I doing wrong?

I've been uploading a few templates now, mostly for joomla 3, and they are all like that, with just the base of the template. I just want to upload a full template that looks like the one on the developer's site.

The developer's site does not have a demo site for this template. So, it is hard to pin point the things to be done so that your site looks similar to the demo site.

Be informed that the demo sites generally have other extensions (e.g., modules) installed and published in various module positions. For example, there could be a module for the slideshow and another module for the tab metaphor. So, you have to first find out the module positions for the template. Review of the document https://docs.joomla.org/Module_positions would be of help.
