Custom field - JForms in 1.6

Post by ssobada » Fri Jan 14, 2011 3:34 pm

Hi,

I'm upgrading a Joomla 1.5 module for 1.6 and one of the issues I've run into is making a custom parameter field work in J! 1.6.

I've got it appearing and all seems well, however I cant seem to get it to allow HTML tags as its value, J! 1.6 keeps stripping them out!

Allowing html tags in this filed is an essential feature of the module and I can't seem to find any documentation on how to override the deafult settings for $formControl in the JForms getInput() function...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Turns out I was overcomplicating it!!

All that is required is the filter="raw" attribute in the XML field tag.
