I'm using JomSocial and recently bought XIUS, with this extension I saw that JS don't fetch data for latitude/longitude - it's just show default value 255.

search for user "test2"
Any ideas why?

Re: JomSocial don't store latitude/longitude
Update: I installed JS fresh on a test server and created a new user. The issue is the same here, no geodata is stored in latitude/longitude fields in DB. Is there anyone that confirm that geodata is stored in JS 2.6 or 2.4 on their website?

Re: JomSocial don't store latitude/longitude
I manage to get geolocation running on my new testsite, but the problem on my old site seams to be due to that I removed some of original fields that is used for updating latitude/longitude db tables.
I'm using "new" fields that holding address etc. Is there any way to debug the issue?

Re: JomSocial don't store latitude/longitude
I got some various result from different site, it works on one of my site. I don't know what the issue is. I used this one to update these tables:

Just be aware that if you have many extensions (like this one) that use Google api, and you hit over 3000 request - geolocation information will stop fetching from Google.
I wrote to the JS support but got some really strange answers, didn't proceed.

Re: JomSocial don't store latitude/longitude
I am writing this, just in case somebody has this same problem. I had several issues with my website, including this problem about the latitude and longitude. JomSocial apparently did not write their actual values on the database for the users. I also had already other issues like the nocaptcha not showing up on the registration page. Also, the Terms and Conditions text was not displayed on the same page. It turns out that all these problems are fixed if the JSPT JomSocial Profile Type component is disabled. Unfortunately, it has been two weeks since I asked for JSPT support due to the two last mentioned issues with no answer at all although every three days I remind them that I need their help. I hope my experience can give some clues about the problem to anybody looking for answers.
