An AI (artificial intelligence) chatbot for joomla

i am wondering if there is any interest in a chatbot for joomla, It would be base on Alice Ai. and run under 2.5.

I working on one now and would like to know who wpuld be interested in it.

If you are tell me what you would like it to do.

I'm joking of course. From an academic point of view it is interesting to see how developers try to mimic human-like behaviour but for the pragmatic amongst us, its a little too far removed from anything remotely practical.

I remember using Alice and being entertained by it for 10 minutes (a bit like trying to get a funny response out of Siri) but (Just like Siri) you usually find that its a hindrance to getting things done rather than a help. One day maybe the scales will tip, which is why we should be more supportive to proponents like you. But for the moment I'm happy for you to quietly chip away at it and then report back when you have something truly useful.

It's been some years now and I don't think it is a crazy idea to actually use a chatbot on a Joomla! website. It would be interesting to see if an app could be created on an AI like Alexa or Siri and you could control it via your phone's AI app. Just a thought...

Things have moved on since I made the previous comments, and the technology is there. No doubt you could utilise an API for one of the leading chatbot engines. Interested to see it when someone has the inclination.

With the advent of the newbie technology, artificial intelligence today is doing rounds in the software world. Installing a chat bot like Alexa and Siri, Joomla could also be one of the better sites. But for that, the website needs to hire guys, who have taken artificial intelligence courses. A guy who has AI Certification is always a bit ahead from the rest of the crowd.
