twitter follow button plugin

Hi,
For various reasons, I´m still using Joomla 2.5.6 but at this moment, I am looking for a plugin that would allow me to have the Twitter and Facebook follow buttons in my website.
Unfortunately none of the ones that I tried seems to work on this version.
Any help? Suggestions?

Suggest that you upgrade the site to the latest version of Joomla, 3.9.0 and have a look at the Joomla Extensions Directory (JED):

Your 2.5 site may have extensions and a template that cannot be upgraded to 3.x, but have to be replaced. Test the upgrade on localhost first and check the sticky topics from the Migrating and Upgrading forum at viewforum.php?f=710.
