Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function Joomla\String\utf8_s

Hello,

I'm trying to login into my Joomla website and after filling the username and password, the page turns white and nothing happens.

I keep on getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function Joomla\String\utf8_strcasecmp() in /home/eazymool/public_html/iecons2015.com/libraries/vendor/joomla/string/src/String.php on line 394

If anyone could help with this I would appreciate it.

Is your site running Joomla 2.5 or did you try to upgrade?

The file name and line number of the fatal error come a file in Joomla 3.4.0, not 2.5.
