New Approved User Notification Email

Hi there,

Firstly, please excuse my ignorance regarding Joomla - I am completely new to it and have been trying to learn quickly how to manage it, as the person who originally set it up has disappeared :eek: My company uses Joomla 2.5 with the DOCman extension for file sharing. We also use Akeeba Subscriptions to manage new users. We have a page where people can go to register themselves as a user on our site. Once they have filled in this web form, they receive an email telling them that their account is pending approval. This email does not ask them to verify their email address or take any further action, it just tells them that an administrator will need to approve their account. At the same time, the administrator receives an email to notify them that there is a new account awaiting approval. My preliminary investigations have shown that both of these emails (to the admin and the user) are managed by Akeeba Subscriptions, and can be edited by using language overrides for the Akeeba plugin. Subsequently, the administrator then logs into the site backend and clicks on the "Activated" button next to the name of the new user. Immediately after this, the user receives an email notifying them that their account has now been approved and they can login with the username/password they defined in the sign-up page. The problem I am having is that the content of this particular notification email is incorrect and needs to be changed, but I can't for the life of me figure out where it is defined. I have trawled through the Akeeba email settings, and the email that is currently being sent out is not there, so I believe it is a Joomla automated email, rather than Akeeba. However, none of the language overrides I have tried have changed the email which is being sent out, including COM_USERS_EMAIL_ACTIVATE_WITH_ADMIN_ACTIVATION_BODY and all of the Akeeba ones as well.

I would be most grateful if someone could direct me to the location where this notification email can be changed.

Could you post the text of the notification email (minus any confidential information)? It would help to track it down.
