/administrator redirects to home page

Hi all

My Joomla is 2.5.11. PHP is 5.3. Suddenly the administrator page redirects to home page
from:
http://domainname/administrator
to:
http://domainname/index.php?option=com_ ... Itemid=101

I tried below I found on web but still the same
1) remove .htaccess
2) empty session table
3) disable jhackguard

Hope some one can help me.

Check if you have Adminexile plugin to redirect admin url to others page.

Your Joomla is severely outdated. You have failed to update to 2.5.28, released December 2014.

@mamunnu, I don't find a plugin called Adminexile

@Pen Yngve, I was able to get the admin page about a month ago. So it should not be related to version. But I will try if I cannot solve it eventually, thanks for your suggestion

Hi All

I finally found the plugin stopping me to get the administrator login page. It is "OSE Secure". After I disable it in DB. I can reach the login page. But still want to know if possible to get around even if it is enabled.

@sonso1027: I haven't used OSE Secure plugin but, if it's like other plugins that do the same thing, I would go to Extensions » Plugin Manager » System - OSE Secure and look at the settings. There's probably a "secret word" setting.

The documentation for this plugin states

By default, the key is set to "oseSecure", then you need to access the backend by accessing this web page: http://www.yourwebsite.com/administrator/?oseSecure

The "secret word" can be set by changing the setting Extensions » Plugin Manager » System - OSE Secure » Basic Options » Backend Secure Key
