/administrator redirecting to /installation/index.php

I have an old site that an old customer wants updated...I haven't really messed with it in five years except to update it periodically. It's running 2.5.7 right now.

The /administrator is redirecting me to /installation/index.php. I read through the forums and did everything like fix the configuration and admin index.php permissions to 0644 and 0755 respectively.

The site is mikesironwood.com/administrator

Any ideas what else could be causing the issue?

the /installation folder should be deleted as the last step of the installation process.
Don't HACK the Joomla! core, Instead "Extend" and/or "Override."
Stay ON the update path.

Yup! The installation folder was deleted...

Any other ideas why this could have happened? I'm completely lost right now..

seems like your frontend is fine. Only your backend is messed up. See if all the files in administrator folder is there.
