[Pickups]

Hello my site has been on Joomla 2.5 and Purity 3 for over two years. ALl of a sudden am encountering Index coverage server errors. component/com_mailto/link,20d862ebbad98e06532595d7685f5d2ded7880d0/template,purity_iii/tmpl,compone

Purity is saying that this is a Joomla error. How may I fix this.

The folks at JoomlArt are probably right: this is a "Joomla problem"; the real problem is that J! 2.5 is unsupported (it's been unsupported for over 3 years).

Two suggestions: (a) if you're looking for a solution for J! 2.5 then you'll need to engage a professional developer unless you're able to fix it yourself, or (b) migrate to J! 3.8.6 and see it this resolves the matter.

Thanks for getting back to me. Deleted the older JCE Editor and then re-installed the latest version of it. What would I need to do to get rid of the possible infestation.

Have tried upgrading to 3.0 but site breaks as soon as we reach to 3.0. Installing with a higher version directly is even a greater catastrophe. We no longer have any Joomla experts on staff and the site is too big to re-create in either Joomla 3 or in Wordpress from scratch. The current staff is more familiar with Wordpress but since the site uses a third party tool to create URLs we are unable to re-create these upon conversion to Wordpress.
