user / password in database Topic is solved

Hi,

complete new to Joomla......

somebody did a web page in Joomla 2.5 a long time for a friend of mine. Now this somebody left town and no word on the username / password for the admin.

We have all other information, database with credentials, FTP, etc, etc.

I found the table ..._users in the database, but there is no chance to find an "MD5" field to change the password, also no username, only two user ID's.
I am now complete confused.
Can somebody help, please....

please see attached picture. This is what I see when I open the "xxx_users" table, no name, no password etc.

What is wrong here???

That file is the user table from JEvents, I believe. Your database should have a file called jvr_users, which is the Joomla users table.
