Upgrading from 2.5.7 to 2.5.25 - which file(s)?

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

Upgrading from 2.5.7 to 2.5.25 - which file(s)?

Given that 2.5.25 is a security upgrade I want to update our site from 2.5.7 to 2.5.25. Which install file do I need to use
1. Joomla_2.5.25-Stable-Update_Package
OR
2. Joomla_2.5.x_to_2.5.25-Stable-Patch_Package

Or do I need to install both?

#2 is all you need. The built in installer/upgrade should have already identified the correct file and you could just do a one-click upgrade.

Edit: as noted below, you need to use the current patch package.

Use Joomla_2.5.x_to_2.5.27-Stable-Patch_Package as the latest version is now 2.5.27.
