Two login modules?

Joomla versions 2.5, 1.7 and 1.6 are all end-of-life since December 31st 2014 and are no longer supported. Please use Joomla 3.x instead.

Two login modules?

I look in extensions > module manager

I see Login and Login form. I can't see the difference. I don't know which module to publish where

If you have loaded the sample data while installing Joomla! then you should see the module named Login Form. Check the module type. The default login module type is mod_login.

If both the modules you are referring to are of the type mod_login then you could use either one of them. Once tested you could delete the other one.

Couldn't see what type they were in 1.6. Confusing. I'll try again tomorrow. Both seem to work and do the same thing :)
