remove jos and j18 after update to 2.5? (jupgrade?)

Hello,

after a more or less successful update from 1.5 to 2.5,
I think I've to clean up my tables in the database...

first I think with joomla 1.5 I had jos*,
than I have choosen j18* with jupgrade?
But after a correction (within the backened I
assume it was changed to j17_*

I the backend: Prefix "j17_" is mentioned.
Therefore my question, is it save to remove
jos and j18?

Or might there be any further problems?

hi,

i have exactly the same problem now. did you delete them ?

after a few major upgrades (1.6 to 2.5 then to 3.x then 3.4., i wish to clean my tables.
and i notice the tables :

jupgrade_categories
jupgrade_menus
jupgrade_modules
jupgrade_steps

and the jos_x ones like you.

can i delete safetly the tables with jupgrade and jos prefixes ?
since a longtime, i am 3.4 and i have no problem at all.

it is strange, because the noticed tables are in myIsam format whereas the new ones (j 3.4. are in Innodb format.
