[SOLVED] Upgrade error 2.5.6 to 2.5.22
I performed the upgrade and got a success message along with this statement:
JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL DB function failed with error number 1060
Duplicate column name 'ordering' SQL=ALTER TABLE `jos_languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
SQL =
ALTER TABLE `#__languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
Files Update: SQL error file DB function failed with error number 1060
Duplicate column name 'ordering' SQL=ALTER TABLE `jos_languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
SQL =
ALTER TABLE `#__languages` ADD COLUMN `ordering` int(11) NOT NULL default 0 AFTER `published`;
I have since noticed that when I place a module in the "right" location the "language" module appears as well. I tried and failed to remove the unwanted module.

Good question.leolam wrote:What is with that right module?

After your suggested fix, I published a module in the "right position". The module appears fine, but the language drop-down comes along too. That module is not published. I deleted then trashed then refreshed and still it is there.
I cannot put anything in the right position on the website without the "language squatter".
The website http://www.jackyork.info is a place for me to create content to later transfer.

well.......We have had so many of these and I just refer you to http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=709358#p2783819 and I know where this comes from and I am not helping you with this since it is useless.
"FreshJoomlaTemplates" is a known malicious template site so the best advise I can give you is to get rid of that crap and get a descent template.
Please believe me when I say that any "free" template has hidden germs. Yours for sure has!
